QUINCY – Daniel M. McCleery of Quincy announced the launch of a personal injury law firm, McCleery Law PLLC, which will be headquartered in Quincy and serve clients in Illinois, Missouri and Iowa .

McCleery said in a press release, “I saw a need in our community for a local personal injury attorney who will meet clients face to face, engage in aggressive litigation and prepare cases for trial. Not all lawyers will do this. Lawyers in big cities don’t know our justice system and don’t invest in our community.

McCleery Law will open its office on Vermont Street in downtown Quincy once renovations are complete this fall.

McCleery Law looks forward to recovering compensation from its clients and helping them through difficult times physically, emotionally and financially. McCleery said: “A lot of the time my clients come to me preoccupied with big medical bills, navigating new physical or mental limitations and adjusting to life after injury. I am here to help them overcome these challenges.

McCleery Law accepts clients injured in motor vehicle accidents, as well as farm injuries, falls, dog bites or other types of personal injury accidents.

McCleery is from Quincy and attended Quincy High School. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and St. Louis University School of Law. Since returning to Quincy, McCleery has practiced law throughout Illinois, Missouri and Iowa. McCleery was previously a financial partner at Schmeideskamp Robertson Neu and Mitchell LLP, where he practiced civil litigation in personal injury defense and insurance cases.

McCleery said: “My wife and I decided to open this firm because helping injured people has been the most fulfilling and fulfilling job I have done as a lawyer. I look forward to serving the people of our community in this way.
